I looked at the Go Pro footage and have questions: What would be the best camera to mount on one of the cars that would give live feedback to a laptop computer with Windows 7 or 8? And was the Go Pro camera powered by its own power supply, or did it get power from the car? What would be needed for the clearest pictures in live mode - USB receiver, camera, etc.?

Use cheap USB sd recording cam for rc planes or heli's as a light weight option but no live feed.

Second option for live feed but no recording to device would be a micro camera on a rf wave to a tx on tv but they normally need a 9v power source to the cam such as 9v rectangular batt which could weigh down the car quite a bit for the size of them. But it can then send you the live feed to a tv
