PC Interface for REAL FX

Hi,

With four cars now, it could be interesting to have a real PC interface - is saw the RealFXLapCounter.exe, a nice piece of software, but obviously no "official" one.
Is there a way to decode the car signals? E.g. with a wireless USB stick compatible with wireless module AMB2520?

Regards
Tinus

Hi,

a lapcounter application would be great and VERY important for races.

I tried to develop a solution with rfid tags and arduino, but the cars are too fast
so lap recognition does not work properly.

The much better solution would be to sniff out the communication data between car and controller.
Real FX uses Amic A7105 chip.

Does anyone have experience with sniffing out 2.4 Ghz data, maybe with wireless module AMB2520, as Tinus said ??

Elreg

Wouldn't it be great also to be able to connect your v 1.2 cars from the starter pack to your PC via USB in order to update them to the software on your v1.4 additional cars? It is obvious that the yellow and red car drive different race lines than the carbon black and blue cars.
